9th Annual Lafayette Senior Symposium Met With Enthusiasm

LCF had a wonderful turnout for the 9th annual Senior Symposium which took place August 5, 2017 at Lafayette Elementary School

The more than 200 attendees had the opportunity to listen to Jennifer Cave-Brown, Stroke Coordinator at John Muir Health talk about the different types of strokes and the most effective methods of treatment and rehabilitation. David Garcia, Senior Fitness Consultant discussed the importance of fitness and its many benefits as one ages. Lastly, there was a panel of local experts who discussed different living arrangement options as well as services that are available to support seniors, in addition to the presentations, attendees visited the resource fair where more than 45 vendors were on site to offer valuable information about various senior services,
