There are many gifting and pledging options when donating to the Community Foundation.
Target Your Gift To An Impact Area
If you donate $500 or more, you may direct 50% of your donation to one of our Excellence Grants funds. The remaining 50% of your donation will go into the Friends of the Foundation Fund. This unrestricted fund allows the Community Foundation to use donations to carry out our mission.
Human Services
Helps individuals and families meet basic needs for food, shelter, clothing, and safety.
Seniors
Contributes to senior needs including socializing, transportation & personal care.
Youth Development & Education
Promotes positive youth development & academic achievement for student success.
Arts & Culture
Supports visual, performing, symphonic, dance, poetry, and arts education.
Friends of the Foundation
Gives the Community Foundation discretion to award grants to local nonprofits.
Help Bring More Parks & Public Recreation Spaces to Lafayette
The Community Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with the City of Lafayette to raise and hold funds in trust for the Downtown Park Fund to be designated in the future.
The Downtown Park Fund will help the City acquire downtown property for many possible types of parks and public recreation spaces within the Downtown Planning Area Zone
