Jeff Dieden was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area and Palos Verdes in Southern California. His education includes degrees from UCSD, UC Berkeley, Mt. Zion, UCSF, and UC Irvine. Jeff and his wife of 40 years, Melinda, moved to Lafayette in 1987 to raise three daughters, all of whom attended Happy Valley Elementary, Stanley Middle School and Acalanes High School. Jeff’s entire medical career was with The Permanente Medical Group at Kaiser Oakland before he retired in 2016. Jeff is an active community volunteer and enjoys travel, cycling and other outdoor activities.
